About

Zie Boyle is an interdisciplinary artist working out of Cincinnati, Ohio. The mediums they work in primarily are ceramics and printmaking with additions of fabric, sewing, and more “craft” processes. Their work is about and for the people in their life while also delving research on the science behind ceramics and printmaking. They are currently exploring the nuances in platonic love and the effect it has had on their relationships with the people around them.

 

Zie has been working in various ceramics studios since 2023, this includes Core Clay in Norwood, Ohio, SKT Ceramics in Cincinnati, Ohio, and DAAP Ceramics Lab at the University of Cincinnati. At these ceramics studios Zie has gained experience in kiln firing, clay and glaze chemistry, kiln repair, clay reclaim, and teaching students. Zie is currently a Fine Arts student in the DAAP program at University of Cincinnati, they will be graduating with a BFA in 2026.
