Print Making

Baby Spider

Pastel Paper, Oil Based Ink, Sticker Paper, Acrylic Ink

8"x8", 2024

This piece is a two-toned intaglio print inspired by my young niece. She has a tendency to call animals 'babies' when they are scarier animals or large animals to help her to be less scared.

The paper used in this piece is a thinner colored pastel paper that was then printed with a copper plate with dark brown and red-orange ink. The stickers are a simple screen-print that are peeled and stuck on top.

Milk Frog

Colored Paper, Oil Based Ink

8"x8", 2023

The simple meaning behind this piece is just a pun on the name of milk frogs, he's just a milk frog on a carton of milk!

This piece is a photo-lithography print. Using a photo-litho plate that is sensitive to light I exposed a printed image using an exposure unit. After washing the plate it is then prepped for printing where it is rolled up multiple times like a traditional lithographic print before run through a press to be printed onto paper.

Sand Seal Plushies

Flannel Fabric, Felt, Thread, Acrylic Ink

6"x5"x4", 2024

These plushies are made from a mix of hand and machine sewing with screen printed fabric designs covering the main body fabric of the seals. The designs are printed with gold acrylic ink that shines when the light hits it.
